-(code 845) It was wonderful when we received a great contact from ‘Dr. Aideen Keaney’, a ‘Paediatric Anaesthesia Consultant’ at the ‘Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children‘ at the ‘Royal Victoria Hospital’ RVH in Belfast – asking if LLCrafts could provide a receptacle for a special project they are working on, so after some thought we said we could and would be very happy to do so, and would donate the first one ….. so hence meet ‘Daisy the Cow ‘ Milkpail, perfect for the children to post their comment and suggestion cards into.
When ‘Julie Lewis’ the Children’s Hospital Service Manager came to collect ‘Daisy’ she further enlightened us by telling us they had been looking for someone to fulfill their requirement, with a ‘quirky edge’ ……. and then they found us! What a lovely compliment!!
HAPPY DAYS ….. and we are very pleased and privileged to be part of it all!
So ‘DAISY THE COW’ Milkpail was painted up and donated to the children’s hospital, the perfect wee quirky container for the sick children and their parents to write comments and messages, and pop them into the pail.
A big thank you to ‘Aideen’ for letting us be part of this wonderful project and to ‘Julie’ for coming to us at Galgorm, Ballymena to collect the wee pail ……. and thanks to the hospital’s design department, for designing ‘Daisy the Cow’ logo. We look forward to continuing with this very worthy and wonderful project, helping to put smiles on the children’s faces!
I am sure the children will just love meeting ‘Daisy the Cow’, giving her a pat and dropping their comments into her pail! So, very soon, the milkpail will be sitting pride of place in the Children’s Hospital in Belfast and we will be popping up to see ‘daisy’ in the hospital really soon. BRILLIANT!!!
