Local Women Magazine – Interviewed NI Artist Louise Lester ‘LLCrafts’

I was honoured and delighted when the ‘LOCAL WOMEN’ magazine got in touch with me and wanted to interview me about my LLCRAFTS business for a featured article. Magazine reporter ‘Clare Weir’, after meeting me at Ballymena Show, visited my ‘LLCrafts’ at Galgorm, Ballymena  for a chat, and took some lovely photographs of my wee cottage industry. 

The featured article was titled ‘MADE IN BALLYMENA’ and centred around my art of painted restoration ……….. where i really love to bring old objects back to life! ……… from milkchurns & milkpails, to slates & tinware …… giving them a new purpose.
My favourite motto is ‘HAVE ANYTHING PAINTED ONTO ANYTHING!’

We also talked about my community presence, holding community art classes in and around Ballymena venues …….. and the fundraising that LLCrafts is involved with .
